   That’s just it though, people like Justin Timberlake because he has the popular vocal style– I want to make my point right now that I agree with you, I do, and I heavily dislike Timberlake. But the reason, just saying, is because Justin has more popularized vocals (the R&B warbling that is so damn “sexy” these days) and Jonathan Coulton has these great, folky vocals that not everybody can appreciate.

    As true as that is, I think the fact he isn’t mainstream, makes him all the more special. Jonathan is amazing. True talent.

    I like some JT songs, but I think JC is more talented & I know his songs better. JC writes lyrics on a broad range of topics + styles. It’s amazing all this creativity came from one mind…Strange how some people make it big with music & lyrics not nearly as meaningful.

    joshtrav1212 what does Justin do other than sing & dance? JC may not look “champ” but I’d rather pay to see a nerdy looking guy with instrumental talent, original & genius lyrics than an artist sticking to a mainstream sound.

    omfg, I found this so awesome. I remember J Coulton from Ze Frank’s “The Debt” show. Then I saw Code Monkeys on G4 and never put the 2 together… This is so much more awesome to me than it probably is to anyone I could explain it to.

    Joshtrav1212. Justin timberlake dosen’t deserve to be a singer. Jonathon Coulton is unknown and yet he makes music 1000 times better than People like Justin Timberlake. Sometimes, the things that go un noticed are the most special things of all.
