  • Giant Fish Helped by Fishing?

    At an artificial lake in Thailand, several of the world’s largest and rarest freshwater fish lurk near anglers baited hooks – and some conservationists couldn’t be happier.

      @AoTBclan

      It’s their choice. One would think they’d learn their lesson the first 100 times.

      people like this should get an aquarium instead, seeing if you stick a buncha fish in a small lake or whatever and allways will catch something exotic it wont make a difference >.>

      that is big fish

    13. JbakkaundIzz on August 21st, 2010 12:51 pm

      they said there is about 26.000 fish orso in this pond so if a couple of fishermen take out
      something like 10-20 fish each day, most fish wouldn’t hardly ever get caught.. i think fishing ponds like this are a great idea.. compared to the global raping people do to fish.. you can clearly see that this guy really cares about his fish ant theyre environment. Here in Europe we have loads of fishing ponds where people put fish like the carp and other not native species in, just for fishing purpose

      its no swiming pool :P .., its a fishing pond,

      @ primpower.., all bigger catfish can make grunting noises while hold above the water, its got something to do with breathing.

      @ iKidPRoDiGYx , yeah thats just what i was writing about… with that many fish, in a fairly big lake, these kind of fishery’s are a great idea for people like me who like to catch some nice big fish, on a weekend off, but don’t want to hurt the environment too much by catching all the main predators.

      what if a fish that is heavily stocked in this pond is dieing out in the wild, then people can come and take the fish and breed it to help the wild population to grow, well thats what i think, its just a great idea, its not hurting anyone and rare fish get to live and grow large i dont see the harm in that
